Thursday 2nd June & Friday 3rd June

Please be aware that the surgery will be closed on the above dates for the Jubilee Bank Holiday.

Please ensure that you have enough medication to cover this period and that you place your repeat prescription orders in plenty of time. We are now accepting requests for repeat medication for this period to ensure we can fulfil the huge demand.

The surgery requires 72 working hours to process requests. If your prescription is automatically sent to your preferred pharmacy please allow further time for them to dispense your items.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

In November 2021 the process for ordering repeat prescriptions changed.

Notification of this change was provided by issuing several updates to the Oakfield Surgery Facebook page, information on repeat medication ordering forms, posters in the surgery and information slips given to patients. In addition, since November there has been a notification reply sent to all emails received by to ‘prescription’ email address. This advised patients of the new process before the email address was deactivated.    

Repeat prescriptions are now to be ordered via the website www.oakfieldstreetsurgery.co.uk

Once you have accessed the website you will be able to navigate to ‘Repeat Prescription’ via the green tile on the home page and is also listed under the main menu.

Please note;

• One request form needs to be completed per patient
• This link is for prescription requests only
• You will receive a reference number to confirm your request
• Allow 72 working hours for request to be processed
• Specify you preferred collection point and allow additional time for the pharmacy to dispense
