Oakfield Surgery Coronavirus update following
Government advice issued 16/03/20
Any patient with symptoms of new persistent cough and/or fever the advice is for the whole household to self-isolate for 14 days. If you symptoms are mild you do not need to call 111 or the GP. If your symptoms are worsening call 111 for advice.
The most vulnerable patients are now advised to start measures of social distancing for 3 months. This includes age over 70, pregnancy or underlying chronic health condition.

OAKFIELD STREET SURGERY update 18/03/20
The Surgery has taken the decision to cancel all routine appointments from today 18/03/20.
This includes appointments for GP/Nurse/ANP/bloods etc. This does not mean you will not be seen if needed.
If you need to see/speak to a GP or nurse contact the surgery on 01443 812979.
A clinical staff member will phone you back. If it is decided it's essential for you to be seen face to face we will make appropriate arrangements to see you as safely as possible.
Please DO NOT attend the surgery for any reason unless you have been advised to do so by a clinician.
